Use of WorldView/GeoEye/QuickBird satellite imagery to detect and analyze urban and industrial pollution in Madrid.


Satellite-Based Artificial Vision for Air Pollution and Green Infrastructure Monitoring in Madrid

This research project uses high-resolution satellite images (WorldView/GeoEye/QuickBird) to monitor air pollution and detect industrial activity in the city of Madrid. Through spectral, thermal, and temporal analysis, it aims to identify specific sources of pollution, map changes in industrial land use, and correlate satellite data with public health indicators and local meteorological conditions.

STANAG 3596

STANAG 3596 is a NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) standard that defines the requirements for military imaging systems used in various defense applications, particularly in the areas of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).


Defense Computer Vision Solutions with Tuplio Under NATO Standards

This project aims to promote the development and dissemination of advanced technological solutions in computer vision and artificial intelligence, focused on enhancing awareness of defense as a key pillar of national security. It involves the implementation of detection and analysis systems using deep learning and image processing to identify objects of interest and monitor activities in critical environments. The solutions will adhere to interoperable standards, particularly NATO STANAG 3596, ensuring compatibility and secure data exchange between systems and allied forces.

Impulsa Crea y Crece

Impulsa Crea y Crece is an incubation program aimed at entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas in the Community of Madrid. Focused on early-stage startups, this program provides the necessary training, advice, and resources to validate, develop, and scale business models. With the support of experts from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, participants will have access to personalized mentors, a network of strategic contacts, and a final Demo Day where they can present their projects to investors and industry experts.


Incubation Program for Entrepreneurs in the Community of Madrid

This program, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid, allows entrepreneurs to integrate into a network of 84 Chambers of Commerce in Spain and 44 abroad, offering a global springboard for business growth. Throughout the program, participants will receive specialized training in key areas such as marketing, sales, financing, and business management, ensuring a solid foundation for successful expansion.

The Complutense University launches the UCM-Santander Incentive Program for the creation, promotion, and consolidation of businesses, self-employed professionals, and non-profit entities initiated by members of the Complutense University Community.


Entrepreneur UCM-Santander Program

Compluemprende, under the Vice-Rectorate for Continuing Education, Employability, and Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with Santander Universities, launches the '5th Call for Incentives for the Creation, Promotion, and Consolidation of UCM Santander Entrepreneurial Initiatives.' The main objective is to support members of the university community in generating new ideas and business projects, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit at the Complutense University of Madrid. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of aid, in the form of incentives and subsidies, for the creation, promotion, and consolidation of businesses and/or non-profit entities initiated by members of the Complutense University Community, under the principles of publicity, objectivity, transparency, and competitive concurrence. This call is aimed at entrepreneurs who are developing a project with a tested and validated business model or an initiative with social impact, under any of the legal forms recognized by the law for the development of economic or social activities. Likewise, this call aims to provide visibility, bring forward ideas and entrepreneurial projects, as well as discover and support the talent of the members of the university community.
